February 10th, 2011...

I'm sorry sorry for the delay between posts. I have been diligently writing my autobiography. Finally completed, I can spend some time on here.

1: I went to The Get Up Kids last Friday. I got a ticket from Jason for my birthday. Me, trying to keep up with my resolution of dating more, bought another ticket thinking I could find a date. Alas, no. It went unused, but I was glad to give the band more of my money. The Get Up Kids are in my Top Ten favorite bands. I love them, & they bring back so many fond memories of times gone by. From the first time I saw them at DV8 Basement with Drew, this makes show number 5. They've tied it up with... Drumroll... The Donnas (Rock 'n' Roll Machine, I'm an American Teenage Raider... Donna A. can take me away. She's one tall drink of water).

I get the chills every time they play this song live. I look up and think of people who should be there. As much as I don't want it too, life moves on, but you're in my thoughts more than you think. Especially, after writing my autobiography.

2: I've ventured into the world of online dating. It hasn't amounted too much, yet. One thing I will throw out to the inter webs... Ladies, I'm sure guys too, put your damn picture up if you're going to date online. No offense, but I pass right by you. We may be a match, but I'm not even going to pursue. I've grown balls & put a few up. Do yourself a favor & do the same.

3: Went up to the Bridal Faire again to find a lonely sister, but alas no such luck. I'll be honest; it scared me to death. Some one tried to sell me a ring. He didn't believe me that I was just walking through. Next year buddy.

4: With Valentine's Day on the horizon, I apologize in advance about my surliness. It's not a "holiday" I like much. I've thought many, many times that I should send flowers to myself, if just to get the whispers going in the other direction. I'll get through it. It would be nice once to spend it with some one other than me.

5: Last, everyone needs to buy the new Dave Hause album. It's amazing. I've loved everything he's done with The Loved Ones, but this truly hits my heart strings. The songs have so much feeling. Maybe, I just relate to the lyrics a lot or too much.

and a great cover of a Loved Ones song...

Hope all is well...

See you in the future...

PS... Do yourself a favor & watch Top Chef. Best reality show goin'.
